After reading johnr's comment "Some customers would like to use Prepay credit to pay for parking or maybe music downloads or PXT (MMS)". Is there anything which prevents the use of this with something such as ASB's pago? Top up $20 to recieve monthly bonuses and then send phone credit to bank account via pago?

Okay /facepalm misread service. But there is similar services which exist. No restriction on premium texts correct?

You can use the Prepay Balance for what ever you like excluding 0900 and other services prepay customers don't get to use under normal TOS

From my understanding, this is quite a good plan instead of the $19 plan if you only need 250Mb of data and more txts than you will ever need. As you essentially get 250MB for 30 days free, and if you keep topping it up by $20 each month, that money is accumulating in your account, so that data and free txts aren't costing you anything. The problem is that you may end up with a huge amount of credit in your prepay account, but I guess you can use that for parking.

Or Change to Prepay Smart / Supa Prepay after X number of months and use the credit up buying addon's that last another calendar month

I think this is a pretty good prepay plan for casual users.

If you don't really use the addons on Supa Prepay, and don't use that much data, text, or call that frequently each month this would work well.

Sorry I've never looked too closely into those plans. What happens if you're on a plan (pay in advance/prepay) and at some point you decide not to pay any more?

Ha, a day after I signed up too.

I didn't have any addons on my prepay setup so I had nothing to lose by migrating. And still being part of the family deal we have got going was the deal maker for me.
