Ok, so do you think I should call Vodafone to find out?  I'm pretty sure my Huawei b3000 is 4g capable..

It's the same router I have which is indeed 4G capable, but AFAIK, 4G has not yet been unlocked for RBI.

Bugger if so :(  But that's cool, something to look forward to! Grant do you have a wide band dual antenna?

Yes I do :)

It's the Next Gen RBI Kit from Ultimate Broadband.
Since installing this kit about a month ago, my download speed has increased markedly.  Now getting up to 30Mbps when things are quiet.

Hmm very interesting!  I'm assuming it still hasn't stopped the dropouts though?

I think I'll look into it however as it obviously speeds things up quite a bit

Yes indeed.  Upload speeds have also increased with 4.6Mbps being achieved when things are quiet.

Unfortunately, it hasn't helped with the dropouts, but apart from a router exchange, I'm good to go for 700MHz 4G.

Wow, that's pretty much double my upload speed on a good day!

How much is it just for the antenna upgrade? And do I have to be with Ultimate Broadband to get it?
