nbp888: Why is it not showing up on the servers though? I assume you work at Vodafone?

When you say not showing up on the servers I take it you mean SMSR? and Yes I work for VodafoneNZ

I assume so. For a while I was told to keep a log of when it failed, who it was being sent to, where I was etc. From my discussions, I understand that the messages don't show up when they fail, for example if a message failed I would re-send so you would expect to see two messages out-going within a short space of time but I understand there is no record of the failed message. I understand this is unusual and usually there would be a record of messages failing to be sent.

SMS that fail to send would not show up on the SMSR logs cause it has not reached the SMSR so no log, This is to be expected, If it's reaching the SMSR then the SMS would send and of course it would be logged,

Simple conclusion it's not a SMS / SMSR issue but sounds like a RAN / radio issue

Thank you. There is some suggestion on the internet that it may be touchwiz kitkat related but I can't confirm that.

No way it's touchwiz related,
