johnr: Mobile fone repair or accord customer care. Just look them up on whitepages.co.nz and the issue may not be covered by the handset warrenty. That will cost you

Accord is no more, only MobileFone Repair.

Chris, I would advise going to MobileFoneRepair, you will be charged for it, but at least you know that they're a certified repair agent for Sharp and they do know what they're doing.

I have the latest firmware which you could then reflash the phone with. Either that or 'upgrade' to the GX25 Ferrari Firmware. Only problem is you will need a serial cable to do the flash and I don't have one and don't want to pay $40-50 to buy one when I know you can get them dirt cheap from overseas. The USB cable I picked up for free (though I did get NZ$1500 worth of stuff). The Nokia DK-2 is only USD$1 and the CA-42 is USD$3. If anyone knows a place where I can get a cheap gx-25/gx-30 serial cable please email or PM me.

Oops, forgot you have the gx15, I have the non-vodafone firmware for that if you want it. Will still require serial cable. Disregard what I said about the GX25.
