tonyd10111: I take it you understand the fundamentals of realtime gps tracking... In order to get a realtime location using packet data, you need the GPRS to be locked and working. At the moment all um getting is texted long and lat from the unit. Now you should be able to use the packed data stream if the GPRS is going. Hence saving you money. Now the unit will work anywhere in the world on GPRS, using voda nz data cards, except in nz. On making enquiries to the manufacturer I was told that the string, which us constant everywhere in the world, works everywhere else in th world, it should work in nz.
freitasm: It looks like that IS NOT a GPRS command, but only the payload of a transmission to a server.
You probably need the APN configuration entered somewhere.
