You should reboot your modem, it isn't as bad as that.

There does appear to be a problem with the speed though, way less from when I signed up just over a month ago now. Here's a Traceroute:

traceroute to murfy.co.nz (116.90.133.111), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
 1  sakura (192.168.2.1)  1.665 ms  1.246 ms  0.943 ms
 2  lo1.chc-ctp-bras1.ihug.net (203.109.128.92)  41.181 ms  45.526 ms  38.818 ms
 3  fx3.wix.net.nz (202.7.1.175)  109.254 ms  56.729 ms  92.416 ms
 4  gigabitethernet4-0-513.chch-rt1.fx.net.nz (202.53.187.98)  64.490 ms  61.190 ms  61.237 ms
 5  131.203.251.202 (131.203.251.202)  64.890 ms  65.830 ms  70.980 ms
 6  116.90.128.3 (116.90.128.3)  62.188 ms  62.769 ms  60.725 ms
 7  vz-1.unleash.net.nz (116.90.133.1)  62.693 ms  62.211 ms  65.986 ms

traceroute to geekzone.co.nz (202.175.128.164), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
 1  sakura (192.168.2.1)  2.170 ms  0.869 ms  1.144 ms
 2  lo1.chc-ctp-bras1.ihug.net (203.109.128.92)  40.447 ms  39.498 ms  40.328 ms
 3  datacom.ape.net.nz (192.203.154.82)  60.178 ms  57.684 ms  57.962 ms
 4  210.55.5.227 (210.55.5.227)  59.263 ms  59.836 ms  62.630 ms

traceroute to vodafone.co.nz (202.73.199.35), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
 1  sakura (192.168.2.1)  1.430 ms  0.900 ms  0.974 ms
 2  192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1)  4.882 ms  4.849 ms  4.762 ms
 3  lo1.chc-ctp-bras1.ihug.net (203.109.128.92)  39.057 ms  40.122 ms  44.168 ms
 4  221.143.109.203.core.vf.net.nz (203.109.143.221)  59.634 ms  57.708 ms  63.737 ms
 5  unassigned.core.vf.net.nz (203.109.143.222)  62.028 ms  57.318 ms  57.302 ms

I actually would like fast local speeds since quite often I actually need to transfer files from work, there's no real excuse from slow local speeds, I can understand international since those pipes get filled quite quickly but local I would expect to almost be maxing out my line with these traceroutes.

Finally got connected to vodafone last night and was happy to find I was getting 11-12Mb/s to Auckland at 8pm with no latency issues.

It works really well for me, but thanks for the tip.

I've been on Voda's naked BB for a few days now. Awesome speeds 24/7, able to max my connection out, 40ms pings in games to Aussie servers, webpages are quick. Very impressed.
