yeah sorry for shouting :)

im a little pissed.. a major factor on me going with the ultimate pack is to torrent etc, but now its pretty much redundant bw.. what other options to i have?

You should reboot your modem, it isn't as bad as that.

There does appear to be a problem with the speed though, way less from when I signed up just over a month ago now. Here's a Traceroute:

I actually would like fast local speeds since quite often I actually need to transfer files from work, there's no real excuse from slow local speeds, I can understand international since those pipes get filled quite quickly but local I would expect to almost be maxing out my line with these traceroutes.

Finally got connected to vodafone last night and was happy to find I was getting 11-12Mb/s to Auckland at 8pm with no latency issues.

vodafone is the most shocking fixed line isp in NZ. my advice to people is to never go anywhere near them.

I've been on Voda's naked BB for a few days now. Awesome speeds 24/7, able to max my connection out, 40ms pings in games to Aussie servers, webpages are quick. Very impressed.
