Broadband Internet Every room is connected to the internet through our provider, Vistagate. Residents can sign up online when connected to the internet network and 'top up' at the office. The system works on a pre-paid basis. The cost is $20 a month and there are a number of data plans to choose from. If you go over your cap, simply top up again. The speed is up to 24Mbit. Wireless internet is also available around the hall, including in the lounge and dining room

This seems to be their ISP, no actual prices or plans but from what their website says it seems to do Fibre so it may not be that bad. Could just be a fibre fed into multiple APs around the house.
The internet speed is fine, just the data allowance. NZ ISP is already providing unlimited data, why are they still capping us?

Bandwidth for other users. AFAIK in these business circumstances they buy X amount of data per month and then obviously the users aka the students at the homestay who sign up to this and use it, get their cut.
