steve98: Add another one to the list. Been a Netflix subscriber now for about 18 months, and Hulu Plus for about four months. Ditched the Sky shortly after signing up to Hulu Plus. Now have access to more amazing content than I have hours in the day to watch - which is in stark contrast to when we only had Sky and spent more time scrolling the EPG than actually watching anything. This is the future and it's great.
EDIT: One small downside to a completely on-demand lifestyle. KIDS. We have a 2 year old and a 5 year old, and they have never known anything BUT a world where everything they pick is on-demand and selected from menus. So being kids they can sometimes be quite hard to please - you can't just chuck something on and walk away, because if they don't like it they know it can be controlled and nag you for something else to be put on. I actually found myself saying the other day "You know, when your mother and I were your age you couldn't control what was on the telly - whatever was on was it!" and it struck me as a real milestone / generational change.
