PC World, New Zealand is a terrible magazine, I find it not normally worht the paper it is on. I was once subscribed to it but now I have moved on from the "magazine" which is really just a little book of advertisments...

My sentiments exactly. It would be good if there was some unbias information rather than the rambilings of idiots who have no opinion of their own. Gossip sells of course and that is their goal - to sell mags.

Oh well at least some of the picutres are good for my kids to cut out for school projects.

BTW purple is the colour of choice for those still in the closet.

Well, I'm going to weigh into the debate here and say that I ENJOY reading PC World and have done so for many years.

Call me STUPID, call me what you like, but PC World is a good read and much of the writing from journos like Chris Keall, Geoff Palmer, Paul Brislen, Juha et al is top stuff.

This thread was started as a thinly-veiled personal attack on Juha and there's no need for that on GZ.

The way the postings have gone here during the past 24 hours is pathetic and if it continues in this vein, the end result will no longer be worth reading.

Moderators, do your job and make sure that posts containing personal attacks are deleted.

And you need to be more even-handed: It seems like some frequent posters on here are allowed to get away with Blue Murder while others are jumped on with the least provocation.

Grant17, you have a good point, although I disagree this was a veiled attack on Juha alone, since the OP wrote about the magazine content specifically.

Being on the Off-topic forum though it can go off hand (what does a pink shirt and rugby has to do with a PC magazine?) whereas if it was in one of the focused forums it would be locked pretty much after it got to the joke point.

I am locking the thread though for the sake of sanity around...
