gustov: You went without UFB because of loyalty to Telecom. When they do belatedly offer UFB, they treat you like a doormat.
Why on earth are staying with them? There are other ISP's out desperate for your business, and they probably all offer a better deal than Telecom anyway.
You seem to be blissfully unaware that the speed of the installation is ENTIRELY out of the control of the service provider - be that Telecom or any other provider. And in certain cases it is even out of Chorus's control (council consent for footpath digging etc). If the OP were to cancel his Telecom order and go to another provider at this stage, not only would the process have to start all over again, but the delay he is experiencing now would be repeated. If the network were already in place then the connection would take only a matter of hours at the Telecom end.
