Team Fortress 2 - peow peow! Kinda cool seeing people I used to play QW and Q CTF on it almost 10 years after I was playing with some of them when I was back in school. Smile

ohh man what I would do for a copy of Halo 3 had to spend the money I've saved for it on my car (Blew the clutch pulling a heavy trailer). Has anyone played it so far havent looked at the forums for a posting on this game yet but will do so.

I have been plating Lineage 2 (http://www.lineage2.com/) for the last year or so. Bit more of a grind than WoW, but you can use the freely available client with a number of L2J free servers out there. I currently play on the Drunken L2 servers: http://www.drunkenl2.com/. Nice to have a game you can jump in and out of without to much hassel and runs on older hardware quite well.

I can't brain today. I have the dumb.

Ooh, instant game lust!
AGOURA HILLS, Calif. -- Sep. 26, 2007 THQ Inc. (NASDAQ:THQI) today announced Warhammer(R) 40,000(TM): Dawn of War(R) - Soulstorm(TM), the next standalone chapter in internal studio Relic Entertainment's award-winning Real-Time Strategy (RTS) franchise, is scheduled for release on Windows PC in spring 2008. Featuring an extensive interplanetary campaign spanning an entire star system in the Warhammer(R) 40,000(TM) universe, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm introduces two all-new factions for an unprecedented total of nine playable races.

"Relic Entertainment has set the standard for technical excellence and innovation in the RTS genre," said Bob Aniello, senior vice president of worldwide marketing, THQ. "Dawn of War - Soulstorm continues that tradition as a standalone title featuring all-new, brutally addictive single and multiplayer game-play that will hook newcomers and skilled Dawn of War veterans alike."

"In Dawn of War - Soulstorm, we've taken Games Workshop's epic war from one planet to an entire star system," said Tarrnie Williams, general manager, Relic Entertainment. "Allowing gamers to play nine unique races, introducing air units and providing multiplayer achievements for the first time creates a tremendous amount of new and challenging strategic gameplay for all players."

About Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Soulstorm
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm is set in Games Workshop's (LSE: GAW) Warhammer 40,000 universe - a dark, futuristic, fantasy setting where armies of technologically advanced warriors, fighting machines and hordes of implacable aliens wage constant war - and is played by millions worldwide. Executive produced and co-developed by Relic Entertainment in association with Iron Lore Entertainment, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm is a complete standalone title and will feature two all-new armies, including the malicious Dark Eldar, for an unprecedented total of nine playable races. In addition to new units across each of the seven existing races, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm will incorporate air units for the first time and introduce multiplayer medals, adding a whole new level of depth to online battles. The revolutionary meta-game introduced in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade is further expanded to an interplanetary scale in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm, allowing players to battle across an entire star system.

kinsten: I have been stuck on WoW for almost a year now. Soo much time invested in something soo artificial. Ahh well, cannot complain, made some good friends (4 of which are heading over from Aussy for my mates wedding!). My mate got me hooked when he gave me his account while he went on his honey moon. He has invested more than 1.5 years worth of actual play time into the game, me, looking at around 40 days total play time. Wow thats almost a month.

Would like to try a FPS again, seeing as I upped my PC specs not too long ago. Hey I meet the requirements for Shadowrun! Woohooo. Maybe try that out.

1.5 years?!? Thats obscene, you would have to have to have played like 8-12 hours a day since launch
