You can google "<anything> + thermomix" and you will find a recipe ready to use with easy steps detailing which settings to use, etc... pretty fool-proof

Or you can Google "Edmonds Cookbook" and also find a recipe ready to use with easy steps detailing which settings to use, etc... pretty fool-proof. And the best thing is you don't need a $2,500 gadget to do it, all you need is some pots and pans, a few utensils, and a hob/oven. Most kitchens already have these in place.

Alright, I am not gonna get into this debate. Frankly I don't care and I am not here to try and convince anyone one way or another.

I was just pointing out one fact that's pretty cool when you have a thermomix. As I have said before, our was gifted to us and I most likely wouldn't have spent the cash for one. Having said that, I think it's a cool device and like I said, one of the benefit is the community that built around it and the millions of recipe those people have created.

My comment was meant tongue-in-cheek :-). For some reason I just can't see the value in paying $2,500 for something like that...

Probably the best introduction to the Thermomix out there.

Wonderful! Just spammed assorted foodie friends with it.

Try them with this one from the same show. Horrifying, but in a "weeping with laughter" sort of way.

yeah i dunno about that one, lost me at the "we are lactating now". Females that use that sort of comedy dont work.
Like all the woman comedians in NZ, All they talk about is how many guys they have been with or some other degrading act and its pretty dry and not funny.

Oh well. YMMV, and this is definitely a love it or hate it type of clip.

A friend of mine has a Thermomix and says its a very noisy beast, but good at doing heaps of things. Like making basil pesto that doesn't turn brown overnight due to its cutting style.
