Are you sure "insite gold" still requires a subscription?

I paid for a year about 2 years ago and still haven't renewed and the thing still works! (but I have to keep booting the ip150 module as loose comms quite often (but email still works).

I read somewhere recently Paradox dropped the subscriptions.... might be worth searching for that.

Agree Insite Gold is a bit rank...but it has got a bit better... but still my issue has been the app stops talking to the panel....until you boot the ip150 (by boot I mean unplug the ethernet and plug it back in).

Yeah so was I..and/or the piggy back module.  But doesn't help those that don't want the cost of replacement panels.

Watching this thread, I asked for a quote from an alarm installer for a ip150 just yesterday. Keen to follow this discussion and hear of any viable alternatives.

I had a IP100 and a paradox in my last house, I had the GPIO connected to my automatic garage door opener, was a life saver when the kids forgot their keys and needed to get in the house.

if you have the capabilities/inclination, have a look at my Blog post for the python service...and there's the https://github.com/jpbarraca/pai service - these may already support the IP100 rather than 150.  Depends how much cross over there is

It’s been fun. But at the point where I can tell Siri to disarm the alarm. Which is pretty useful.
