Yes, one of our staff members had this also, bit of a trap. I might see if we can get a sticky for high data usage with a few of these culprits in it.

That could be good in the general broadband forum. For us, the key complaint is when someone starts torrenting in the house and doesnt know its seeding after a download... so we look for high upload in that case.
If we see 1-3gb regularly between 1am and 5am= teenage son playing blizzard games with background torrenting switched on for patch updates and acting as a supernode.

But I think a communal list of such programs is a good idea... and how to switch their p2p functionality off.

It's a good plan, a list of all the usual suspects... I've made a general sticky now here but will start collecting more detail on specific software packages that can cause high usage :)

Not sure if related to previous ddos problem but my internet hasn't been able to connect for the last half hour and for some reason my router password has been changed back to the default (not sure if done by flamebeard or not) any ideas?

According to the notes on your account you spoke to our Contact Centre and as part of troubleshooting they carried out a factory reset (which restored service). That would have reset your admin password to its default (and your WiFi settings etc).
