xxguestxx: Thanks. Sorry if i get terms messed up. I dont know much at all...only the bare basics.
Heres an image of the xDSL page. Is this what you need to see?
I have no idea what it all means hehe. But i know this info is alot better in your guys hands ;)
Thanks for the fast repsonses guys regardless of the outcome.
Really appreciate it ^^
xxguestxx: Hi.
I know that he installed a splitter. Whether it was a VDSL Master Splitter i couldnt say for sure. Here are a couple pics of it, inside and out.
Looks like 2 conductors are used inside.
If i can do the Line check option id like to do that before i give up. Remote access or whatever it takes.
I really want to be absolutely sure that it can or cannot work without missing any single thing out. I need this if its possible ^^.

I'm by no means a qualified cable tech, but that to me looks like a jack point, not a splitter - which would explain the high attenuation.
Can you please message me with your account number and I will truck roll a tech as this looks like an FSI to us.

xxguestxx: I just followed the cat5 back from the jackpoint along the walls and up into the roof. I went into the roof and followed it right back to where it goes through the wall , outside to the ETP. There is no filter or any other connection between the jackpoint and the ETP that i could see. So i think the answer remains behind the ETP cover yet. :)
