sippingsoma: Modem synced the following day after a day of zero service. I received a text from Orcon saying that the fault had been resolved. However, the line rate has fallen further and the connection is terribly unstable.
The move to Spark is underway and having tested the line they have found it unsuitable for VDSL, which I suspected all along. Something is clearly a bit wrong with the way Orcon is provisioning these services.
Thumbs up to Spark, they've been very attentive and communicated everything well.
