Actually, you're quite right. I had confused myself and thought that endpoint was located in Singapore as well and thought the 133ms ping I was seeing was expected. However, if it is infact located in Australia then yeah, that's still broken.

Same issues as OP still not fixed, complained to 2degrees directly and got nowhere helpful. Routing is fine via my vodafone connection but 2degrees ping has gone from 50 to 140 the last couple weeks, very annoying and happens at the GTT node on the tracert

Probably related to OP but I'm having really slow transfer speeds (nothing past 100Kbs) with my FTP Server (based in the Netherlands).

Also some Australian sites (eg ninenes.com.au) take forever to load, tracert ends with time outs.

Hopefully the issue is fixed soon

The latency was briefly fixed (I noticed for about 2 minutes while I was playing

and then suddenly it went back up, now its back to steady 140 ms

Very strange hat it was fixed so briefly, hopefully its a good sign that they are working on it i guess

Thinking I might need to get a secondary ISP connection if this is going to drag on 😬

Yeah sorry man he just posted this 10 days ago and still not sorted so was wondering if they had got anywhere with the upstream providers.

I understand there was no ETA at that time, also understand it's not strictly 2degrees but their providers, still doesn't change that it's only an issue with their network and latency is fine on my Vodafone hotspot for example (although noticeably less stable on a 4g connection than the fibre).

I'm not trying to be rude or anything just wondering if there was any further update than the one from the 12th, sorry if it came across wrong

It's somewhat ironic that traffic needing to get to Singapore is needing to be routed further afield yet a server in Sydney takes the round trip via Singapore...

Yep Singapore to Sydney is also back on GTT, Cogent for Asian and European routes so seems interrelated.

Yep, checked when I saw the reply to this thread and it was good. Now it's back to the way it was. Maybe they're finalising things.
