RunningMan:

There should be another (hidden?) setup menu to access the full LNB settings.

Here are the lnb setting for sky but not sure what to do for the freeview side on my PC software in previous post.

Does the second cable allow you service with sky when its connected?

Yes I can get sky on that cable if I have it connected to box.

OK, those settings from the Sky decoder look exactly as expected. They show an LOF of 10750 (10.75 GHz), and tone on (22 kHz) switches the LNB to 156 degrees (C1/D3). That means the dish is pointing where it should be, and the LNB LOF is what we thought it was.

The following should work:

LOF1 10750

Switch : 12750 (or anything higher)

LOF2 10750 (shouldn't matter, as it should never switch to this).

Are there any other settings available? Have you tried a manual scan?

Not yet will do. So should I use the 156.0E Optus C1, D3

No. Freeview is on D1. Your LNB will switch to C1/D3 though if you send it a 22 kHz tone, but you don't wont to do this as you won't get Freeview then.

The confusion comes from the different types of LNBs. Your software expects a universal LNB which uses the 22 kHz switch to move between a high and low band on the same satellite. The Sky LNB uses the same switch though to switch to a different satellite (in case of failure).
