Has anyone noticed the glitches with the audio? Its almost like its going from stereo to mono for a split second.

Recording on my PS3 with the PlayTV add-on has been working well.. Loving pausing live TV and recording on the fly.

Haven't noticed any of that I don't think.

The only thing I've noticed is the sync issues on some channels but they'll be ironed out and the other channels still to go on air.

The only thing I have to do now is wait for the work to be fully completed before getting a serviceman out to re-align the aerial to face Forest Hill.

Is freeview all up and running in Invercargill? I was getting 4 channels before when they were testing, but now when I scan I only get 3 channels found with no picture or audio (channel 800, 801 802) Am I doing somthing wrong when scanning?

Freeview's running but like with the other regions in the expansion areas it's still in testing stage according to Going Digital.

As for the channel's you're getting you should have 11 in total and I can only assume that you're manually scanning one of the frequencies in only and not getting the other two.

Let the device scan them in automatically and then you'll get the eleven channels that are currently on air, with the remaining ones to come soon.

Has anyone noticed deterioration in signal since the poor weather has rolled in this afternoon?  I suspect the picture may be telling me I need to cut down some tree's and get true LOS with Forest Hill, or maybe I need a better alignment - either way I hope this isn't a sign of things to come....

I haven't noticed anything but I've still got my aerial facing Hedgehope.

I'm just curious as to whether anyone has even bothered to make the adjustment while Freeview's in testing stage.

It should be all go by the end of July. We're fortunate it's not after the Rugby World Cup because originally they told a Freeview satellite install user I did s that it probably wouldn't happen before then. Hence why they ended up getting a satellite install done.

YES! I was beginning to think it was my hardware!  And since about 7:45pm tonight its been down as well just after the lights flickered. I wonder if the new transmitter got hit by a lightening strike.

Yes still down as at 8am only seeing a little signal on ch 36 . Yes I wonder if the new transmitter got hit by a lightening strike as the lights did dim here about that time. Not a good start if this is the start. As I have not head a public announcement?

Bearly watchable now. Maybe my aerial has taken a battering with the stormy weather.

After some google earthi'ng I worked out how many degrees I have to turn my antenna to point at Forest Hill - I've got absolutely no issues now - working very well.  And the best thing yet, I can still get analog from Hedgehope without any aparent signal deterioration!!

Just noticed that Stratos through Base FM aren't showing up anymore on my T1020.
