Good news.  I haven't seen any update to the news about which LTE bands are alive on it now, but they must have increased them from the original few if 4G is working here.

Did you get your through the motorola store?   I'm still waiting for mine.

Yeah, had my folks order it through MotoMaker and then ship it over via USPS.  Got the 32GB cognac leather with black face and trim, looks and feels pretty dope in the hand.  Also plays really nicely with my Moto360... guess I should get a Hint now too.

Same design as mine, but without folks to buy it and ship it I made the BIG MISTAKE of using shipito.com to buy it and ship it.  They are the biggest pain in the butt company in the universe - if anybody is thinking of using them - DON"T.

They make you wait until the goods are in their warehouse, then start to charge ripoff amounts for shipping, but they won't accept my credit card until December 1 because I have already made a purchase this month????  Utterly unhelpful staff won't help.

Glad you like the phone.

I've just ordered one off Motorola.com. Initially they cancelled my order when they saw the Youshop address.

Can somebody confirm Spark 4g works on Moto X 2014 with Lollipop? Screenshots with speed test samples are welcome.

Cheers

How did you get them to accept the Youshop address? I've heard of many people being unable to purchase from Motorola.com due to this. I really want the 2nd Gen Moto X, it's just come out here in NZ but quite pricey. Be interesting to see how much it costs you with import tax?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I re-ordered it yesterday with a real address and they put the order on hold today. I called them and asked me lots of questions about the order and then told me to wait 48 hours until they send me an email with confirmation.

Frustrating.

I did hear about that, but no. Heard Motorola UK was having a deal on the moto X soon.

I tried to order one on Tuesday evening only for it to be immediately put on hold and then cancelled this morning. They really appear to dislike youshop address'. I've given up and will probably just wait for someone to bring the nexus 6 to New Zealand.

I have one cyber monday code if anyone wants it (got two as I was planning on ordering two. PM me if you'd like it

I just realised a friend is going back home to the UK next week. I can then buy it from the UK store and get it sent to him which he'll bring back.

This may just work out.

Mine finally arrived yesterday. The upgrade to lollipop was available so I did that right away and the 4G/LTEworks perfectly
Even without LTE I got 32.22/9.7 which is about the same as on my VDSL connection at home, but when I hit the CBD and LTE was available I got 115/35.  The people in the car next door at the lights looked a bit startled wen I whooped and shouted "HOLY %^&*"

Noel Lemmings has an eta of January next year for the moto x. Harvey Normans reckon next week sometime. Might have to cancel my order with Noel Leeming and go with Harvey Norman.

Does anyone have any other options other than importing from overseas?
