GPS Audio Issues
Hi all. A little feedback on the Navigon navigate software.
First, the accuracy in drive mode is nothing less than outstanding. An example - I set my destination to a particular intersection and was alerted to its approach, as you'd expect. I was in a 5 car queue stopped at the lights and when the lights went green, I got a "You have reached your destination" advisory as i entered the intersection itself. Absolutely bang-on! Very impressive. Haven't attempted a walking test, but will do so this afternoon when I'm in the city. I'll get it to direct me to a Starbucks for a well deserved caffeine hit.

Secondly, however, there seems to be a bug in the audio. I have the radio on the SGS going and when the Navigon turn-by-turn voice talks at me, then radio mutes, as you'd expect. Unfortunately, the mute ends before the TBT voice message completes, meaning that the 'distance to go' part of the message is drowned out by the radio.
If somebody else with Navigon could test that as well, it'd be appreciated. If it's just something to do with my setup, then I'll try changing stuff to resolve it but if others have the same issues, then I'll file a bug report with the developers.
Meantime, I'll revert to using the car radio when I'm also using the GPS.
Thanks in advance for any feedback folks.
Cheers,
