$900 for the HTC One X if you Preorder through Telecom, $1000 without preorder. I actually thought they might put it over $1000, glad they didnt.

http://store.telecom.co.nz/mobile/prepaid/htc-one-x

Judging by the pictures it looks like they have/will install there software on the device. You can see widgets for "Your Telecom" and "Y!X TWorld" so thats a shame.

Phone just arrived at my office - 3.5 working days from UK. No GST payable. Clove and Royal Mail are my heroes.

Motorwayne - thank you for convincing me to get the white version. Sexy as hell.

Fair buy has theirs up now as well, 899 inc shipping, same as Telecom's pre-order. Also I am told GST is covered by their suppliers so there shouldnt be any hidden costs

*Cant link to fairbuy...*

Impressive pricing from telecom

Wooooow - awesome device. Screen is incredible, just as everyone has said.

Anyone have any questions?

Ordered from Clove, $876 incl shipping, screen protector & protective case.

Would really like to know about the battery life as I'm upgrading from a Desire which for me lasts around 1.5 days at times which I find pretty good, but of course I cant download any more apps as the memory is maxed out :D

Friend of mine is getting one... I'm going to have to have a play on it and see how I like it, and how he likes it before deciding if I want to upgrade or not.

Wifi reception seems significantly better than my old Desire running Cyanogenmod 7, and far better than the Desire running Sense. When I was running sense on the Desire, I could barely get a signal in my office. Strong signal with the One X, no worries.

Ha, this was me until today! Even after S-off, a larger partition for apps, and moving everything possible to SD, I ran out of space on the Desire a few weeks ago. Never again!

Solid kind, white, a la ipod, though they do have a nice non-tangle cord. Wish something a bit better was included but I already have nice earbuds anyway.

I will say that I am VERY stoked to get some bluetooth headphones which support Apt-X streaming. Been waiting on this tech for a while.
