New to Lightbox after deciding I need a change from Netflix. I’m finding that the “f” word is dubbed out on the shows ive started watching, it’s really f-ing annoying. Is this common for others, or is there a way to turn it off. Pretty poor if shows are coming pre censored!!

Thanks

i hate that too

in america they heavy cut and censored 90% movies on tv

so when it comes in to nz they get the censored copy from the supplier not the original copy from the movie studios

Watched the latest episode of Suits and that wasn’t censored.

Weird, I’ve been watching suits and the f word was dubbed in at least two episodes, same with me robot. Man I hope it’s not like that on breaking bad, I want to rewatch that and is one of the main reasons I got lightbox, if they dubbed that half the dialogue would be missing....

Part of an Email received from IMDb.
Teaser Trailer of the Week

Do you like super-violent superheroes and swearing? So do we – which is why we can’t wait for the Prime Original series “The Boys”

Guess that sort of program wouldn’t work on Light Box.
I haven’t noticed any subbing on mainstream TV, Maybe they’re more subtle how they do it.

You sure it's not a setting on your account or something?

Logging into a kids account?

LOL To my amusement I just discovered too that I cannot type the word f*** in this forum. Whats with that? Censorship is everywhere these days. But I guess its warranted here to keep things under control.
