Hi
If I want to create my own polyphonic ringtones, wallpapers etc for the Hyundai TX-95c (rather than use Xtra's) how do I do this? There is nothing in the manual on it. Would i have to create the files, upload them then import them via WAP? Is there ringtone composer/converter software out there that will create tx95-compatible ringtones?
I'm pklanning on buying the $99 data cable and downlaoding the soon-to-be-updated PC software, will this be the way to do it? Any tips or web links would be great!

The TX95 supports standard .jpg, and Midi files, also .QCP and .PNG formats. You will need to resize any files to fit the handset specs, then host them of a web site and access the url via wap.

The PC synch software doesnt appear to support importing these files nor backing up images/ringtones.

OK after some fiddling here's what I worked out. You dont need to sign up to Xtra's mobile plan for this but it will cost you about 5c per 10kb I think.
Create a jpeg (.jpg) file that's 640x480, 320x240 or 160x120 and upload it to a website somewhere. You can also do this with MIDI music files. Then, on your phone, go to "Do More", "Connect Web", "Launch Web" then press Menu and choose Option 4 - Go to URL
then enter the url to your file. For example, http://www.yourdoamin.co.nz/image.jpg
The image will load and display. Press menu then 9 to save it. When it appears again, press Menu then 1 to save it to your album. You can now use the image/sound in various applications throughout the phone :)

Hey, offtopic a bit - do you know how to send a contact to another phone from a TX95? There doesnt seem to be an option to do it anywhere....

I've created a pic, resized it properly, hosted it (at www.dale.net.nz/jessie.jpg) accessed it via my wap browser, now the pic didnt load, but it said "jessie.jpg" in the top left-hand corner. So i went to "Save Items", it said the pic was transferred to my image folder. Went there, and it said the picture was "invalid", and must be erased!!

I would be tremendously grateful for any help. Thanks in advance.

If you see a icon rather than the image you need to enable web images under the settings somewhere,

I followed the instructions and also had the same problem - which worked well when I found that images were disabled and then changed it,

I don't think WAP supports normal URLs. Not too sure.
But it works if you upload your stuff onto www.tagtag.com and then download them via WAP.
