Hi all,

So I've been given a new S8 Edge for my new job. But of course I still want a phone for my personal number / contacts. So I was looking at going small as all I need it for really is calls / text. I quite like the old Motorola RAZR.

But I have no idea if these will work in NZ? I was looking at getting a small phone off somewhere like DHgate as they have a good selection.

Anyway to my point: What network types run in NZ? (I hope I've used the right term) What do I need to know about importing a phone from over seas so it will work here?

I'm currently in Telecom but understand that I can change to a different provider and keep my phone number if I have to.

Sorry if I've waffled, I'm not very good with all this technology stuff, I was born in the 60s!

If anyone could advise me of what to do / what not to do it would be greatly appreciated.
