I used to have the Okta Mondo some time ago and had real trouble syncing it with my PC using the software provided with the mobile.  Eventually I gave up trying to load music to the phone this way.  I ended up buying a micro SD card which connects directly to my laptop and transferred my music directly onto the micro SD card.  This worked fine although I must admit it would have been easier if I could have just transferred it directly in the first place!!  Good Luck :)
