We want to create an XHTML MP website targeted at Telecom customers with newer model phones capable of playing midi ringtones and wallpapers. Does anybody know what phones we should be targeting, and what phones will support the ability to download ringtones and wallpapers?

The key is get the Header info from the phones which tell you what phones support which format. Telecom does not have all the formats supported on there download site just the common ones so they don't have to manage content on a phone by phone basis. However a lot of the new phones support some pretty cool stuff . They only problem is that when you leave the Telecom Garden you sre getting charge 5c a 1K , which hurts when you download a video clip to the Sanyo 7400
