Hi im thinking of buying a N96 from parallel imports and i am wondering if i buy it will all the functions such as 3G, GPS, WIFI, MMS work?

Also do you guys recommend N86 or N96?

If the dealer is any good settings should already be on the phone for MMS

No settings required for the others

There are no DVB-H transmissions in NZ.

In all seriousness, does anyone really care about V-Live?

The actual phone functions, TV receiver aside, will all work fine.

As to N85 Vs N96 - the N85 is the better handset. That said the N85 has bad problems with build quality variation, and I know of a number of people who have been through as many as half a dozen to get one that was acceptable (check nokiausers forum for more details).

To be perfectly honest I would go for the N86, which is largely the same, but with better build quality and a better camera. Its only very slightly more expensive than the N96.

EDIT: Just saw the question about e-infotech. I've purchased from them and it was fine, others have had variable experiences (mostly in the customer service department). I'd buy from them again if they had a handset I wanted at a consierably cheaper price-point than somewhere like phonesdirect (which I prefer).
