Just got a gw300 and im using a 2degrees sim card. On the main screen it says 2degrees and underneth it it says voda nz. Is there any way to get rid of or change the voda nz?

Also i seen the MMS and internet settings on the 2degrees web site. Anyone able to help me set it up as the manual isnt very helpfull. The 2degrees site says they can send the settings to your phone but the gw300 isnt listed.

Thanks for any help in advance :)

Try another recently released LG phone from the 2degrees website. Generally they all accept settings in the same format. GM310 maybe? Alternatively if its already got Vodafone settings those will work too.

Are you saying vodafone settings will work with a 2D SIM? I hope not

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me to configure my GW300 internet settings? I've downloaded both Opera Mini and eBuddy and gone through numerous internet tutorials to try and configure my settings but every time i try and use either I get a message saying there's no internet connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does the same SIM work in another device for the net?

The issue might not be the settings on the phone

Vodafone Live works perfectly on the GW300 with my sim but it didn't on my old phone, although I bought it off Trademe from some Asian vendor dude so it was probably imported and I had no idea how to configure the settings. I've read a lot about the difference between VFNZ Gateway and VFNZ Internet but when I activate the internet profile it still won't work

Just pad with 0s.

e.g. 118.148.1.118 becomes 118.148.001.118

EDIT: Hmm - I'm not so sure now. Will need to check on that.

And also, if you see "2degrees, vodafoneNZ" that means you're roaming in Vodafone's 2G coverage - if you're outside the main centres.
