has any one elase had problems with the cover on the E75 coming apart,
it would seem that the crome strip on the bottem is not very well attached and comes loose and then falls off,  i had it happen before xmass so in the new year i sent my phone back, it was returned with what looked like a new cover ( complete with plastic film) i have had it back for about 3 weeks and the same thing has happend again, one of my work associates has had the same problem and he had to get his sent away as well,  he has only had it bac 2 days so no repeat fault yet. strikes me its dogey design, as when tou have the slider open to uset the qwerty key board is when you cacth the crome cover,  any toughts or comments. ?

Yes its come off for me a few times, but had no problems just pushing it back on. Having said that its prety flimsy so could easily break. Would consider some sort of glue (not too permanent) if I had to - not sure Nokia is going to be able to do anything bar replace the plastic strip.

my long term concern is if i lose it then the is no pretection on the bottom of the phone and it will allow dirt in, i thought of glueing it on but then i would void the warrienty for any other faults.

Those phones do appear to be quite flimsy overall as are most recent nokias. Glue is the best option, something that will hold it but not superglue!

A "tacky" glue that can be removed easily, even something like PVA might be enough to stabilize it a little more. or a "contact adhesive". Also tru uhu

The problem with using a hard un removable glue is that they might say "Void warranty" if something else was to ever happen. Also the screws may be under that cover but I'm unsure. (I have an E71 which is different)
