Im not sure if I should get the police involved with this.
I have been getting a few texts messages about me and a girl, we were going out.
It was almost like ths person is a obsessive physco, saying all kinds of things.
The thing is I deleted all the texts and havent recieved any for about 2 weeks now apart from this morning. I got one and im wondering if I should go to the police and tell them, see what they do.
Could it be traced? This is the first time the actual number has appeared to tell me the number of the person sending me the texts, before it just said 'unknown sender'.
What happens if it s a pay-as-you-go?

This girl is scared to go out now its gotten so bad.
My contract is with Vodafone so does anyone know their policy on achiving texts or infomation about the sender? I cant see them keeping data for too long but do they have to keep the names/details such as phone number of the sender for longer than they keep the actual txts?
Sorry, this has gone off on a bit of a tangent but its really important and i need answers. I cant understand the vodafone reps on the phone, no offence, but I just dont understand them

Yes but does Vodafone keep infomation such as the sender and the date sent of all texts or not? I don't mean the actual content of the texts.

Also if the person is using a pay as you go phone then its basically impossible to trace isn't it? Expecially when it seems to be turned off all the times I've tried to ring it from another phone

Thanks

Leave it to Vodafone, they will have ways to find out. And don't ever try ringing the phone.
