contacts to see who has texted me. Is their a way i can change this
so i am able to see the name of the person who has sent me a message?
if so please please reply ASAP, i have tried my message settings, contact settings and phone settings
and nothing has helped. PLEASE help if you can any information would be
appreciated!

Make sure your contacts have correctly formed phone numbers. Best way to do it is using the standard +[country code] [area code] [number] - for example fora New Zealand mobile it could be +64 21 555YYYY.
