Anyone know if theres anyway I can get my security code back? I cant remember what it is, or do i just have too keep trying the 9999 combinations that it could be?

Is it your 4 digit pin number?

Unless you changed it, it will be the last four digits of your 027 number.

If it has been changed, go to any Telecom dealer (a real dealer, not Harvey Normans or Noel Leemings etc), and they will reprogram your phone on the spot, which will reset your pin number to the last four digits of your phone number again.

If they are not sure what they are meant to be doing - ask them to "re-nam my phone please"

Sorry - because its a service programming code, we dont post them on this forum.

I have changed my security code so its not the last 4 digits of my phone. Will have to take it in then. Will I lose all my other settings and downloads?

No, you wont lose anything at all, as long as they just "re-nam" as if they were setting up a loan phone or a new phone for someone.

Hey tonyhughes,

Not sure if it works for the Sanyo 7400 like that, I just did said "re-namming" but its not like Nokia repogrammes where the lock code is part of the programming process.

Normal BAU is for the Dealer to send them either back to the manufacturer or to the Telegistics guys.

My 2c worth anyways.

Not sure if it works for the Sanyo 7400 like that,

You dont get to enter a pin during the namming, but the process of namming the sanyos normally automatically reverts the pin to the last 4 digits of the newly programmed number.

You have to change the details to another phone number, save them and then change it back to your old phone number in order for it to reset
