Every day i get a message "a lineup change has occurred" which i delete. But once every month for about a week tivo will delete all the channels and any scheduled recordings that have been made on the device or tv gennie. It then requires a channel scan to get it going again, it does not delete the channel is left on. Hybrid have been absent in sugestions apart from "its going to require a programing change to fix it" and its freeview nz fault.

Have rung telecom faults and didnt get anywhere. Any ideas??

It started two months after I purchased the box, live in Meadowbank Auckland.

Your right the epg stays the same, my guess it is one of the hidden channels like v1-v6 that is changing

I worked out its from turning off the modem

Took my second tivo back today telecom replaced it last week. The sales guy has the similar problem, but his cannels arent deleting. I tried it with the lan cable connected and disconnected. Telecom have been real helpful but they admit they cant get anywhere with hybrid tv.

IANAL but I'm sure this would be covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act as "Unfit For Purpose" and as you've already tried replacing the unit, should be grounds for a refund. The responsibilty is with Telecom as they are the seller, not Hybrid.

Just heard from tivo, they expect to get this problem fixed within three weeks, the thing has not worked in four months, and they are just responding to my last fault report on the fifth of june. The problem is the new channels having a signal outside the channel bands.
