Hi all.

I have recently created my first ever gif using an app from the  Apple Store.

Now that I've created it I'm trying to figure out how to share it.

It plays OK on my computer in my browser and Preview but if I try to send it it in an email, Airdrop it or upload it to Facebook it appears as a single frame only.

How do I go about uploading it or sending it please?

I'm on a Mac.

Thanks

Ian

Is it an animated gif? - sounds like it.

Sorry, yes, it's about 3 secs long.

OK, I've thought about it a bit more.

You don't 'upload' animated gifs to Facebook, you post URLs.

I still can't figure out how to share the file though.

You could try uploading it to your Facebook photos, then post it as usual.

If that fails..

Post it to one of the free image upload services. That service will give you a link. Post that link to facebook.

Success!

Tweet it, that seems to work when I last tried it and was easy.

I'd have to get a Twits account!
