I am looking for a camera with good quality (high resolution) high speed video functionality with also ability to take quality photos.

The Casio Exilim EX-FH25, Nikon CoolPix P100, FujiFilm FinePix HS10 look like the best options for me, but if you have any other similar cost cameras like these please inform me.

I am mainly looking for a camera to film sports and scenery in slow-motion while reserving a respectable resolution to be viewed mainly on YouTube. The amount of mega-pixels does not concern me as long as it is over about 6MP. I already have a video camera which films at 1080p 30fps, so please discard any specs relating to standard-speed HD filming.

I have also had a look into the Cannon 7D and the Casio EX-F1 which are also higher end high speed capable cameras, but the price may be a little over my budget.

Please help me with my decision. Cheers :D

Have you considered the Panasonic GH or GF series? I'm not sure if it would fit within your budget, but if so then you can get DSLR image quality without being stuck with the rough bolt on video implementation that newer DSLRs have.

Thanks for the reply! I will look into it. But do they have high-speed video functionality?

To be honest I'm not too sure because I generally only shoot stills - in fact I've never actually used the video mode on my GF1 even though it said to be very good. You might want to take a look at www.dpreview.com which is a great resource for anyone interested in photography or wanting to buy a camera.
