Hey is there any heat proof (and foodsafe I guess?) silicone out there? I pushed over my charcoal bbq the other day and now there's a small gap where some smoke is escaping. I was thinking I could just seal it up with a bit of silicone, but was unsure if there was a product out there.

Is the gap in the hood of the bbq?

I wouldnt use silicone, Maybe if its small enough you can braze it up with some bronze. Otherwise id be looking at a food safe and heat resistant putty.

Generic silicone won't do it, get some automotive exhaust sealant, these typically come with a bandage that you soak in the sealant and apply to the crack/seam.
