As our HW cylinder is under the house, and we'll eventually move to gas HW - what are the other options around keeping a level of heat/ventillation in the laundry cupboard? I got a new towel out this morning for my shower and it was musty and cold.

I had opened the cupboards and ran the dehumidifier by it, but that's not an elegant solution.

What are some of the options that people know of?

You can buy dedicated cupboard heaters. Ventilation might be important, you could put in a duct with a fan on a timer to pull air through once a day. Or leave the door open. Or put towels on a rail before using them.

Something as simple as an electric heating pad on a timer.  For example a waterbed heater or kennel heater.
