Hi guys,

my Baumatic top-load washing machine has two issues:

1. when the wash process comes to "rinse" mode, it keeps repeating a few times then an error code E3 pops up. for instance, the number of rinse times is set 2-time but after the first rinse is finished but on the digital panel the remaining times for rinse is still 2-time. like the remaining time is 24 mins then suddenly jump back to 29 mins.

2. when the wash process comes to "spin", the drum just starts to spin for 1 second and stops immediately. then refilling water in it. it keeps repeating 2 times then the error code E3 pops up as well.

just wondering is there anyone who had the same issue as mine before. and how do you fix it. or are there any other websites or forums that are better for my problem.

thanks guys.

Temp sensor or heating element fault. Maybe try it on a cold wash setting?

Rinse or spin should already be cold water. Error E2 could be draining error, check pump for blockage.

I would be looking at the pump.

What model?
There is a good chance the error code definitions can be found online with a search.

the error code is E3, the manual says E3 is the unbalanced load. but my clothing is already placed evenly.

The machine may appear balanced while loading, but have you taken it apart to confirm that the counter weight rods, and any weight on the bottom of the drum are still in place?

I haven't disassembled the machine, ill try it another day when it's not raining :) you meant the suspension rods may be in bad condition?

Dunno about Baumatic but in F&P top loaders there's  a switch that gets bumped by top of the bowl if it moves too far off axis. Maybe faulty or stuck on?

for this possible situation, I'll need to take the machine apart another day to check, actually the same issue happened in 2020 and didn't have time to fix it but recently the machine works again, but 2 days ago the problem occurred again.
