Hi.
I am having problems streaming from Netflix.
I am using Strong DNS and Im using a Mac PC. I can get into the Netfix menu but when I try to watch the movie I get the N8210 Error. I have spoken to Netflix and they said it is a Silverlight issue. I then contacted Silverlight and have reinstalled the Silverlight plug-in as they suggested but I still get the same error and so Silverlight are now saying that it is a Netflix problem. The strange thing is that 5% of the time Netflixs  actually works. My apple tv dosnt work at all and my laptop is doing the same thing as my PC.
Does anyone have any ideas.

What is your ISP? Where are you located? This was an issue for ppretty much all ISP's in New Zealand but is resolved now....

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Hi,

If all devices have the same issues its either the DNS servers, Router, Or ISP cache.

If you are using Global Mode then try turning it off then on again.

Spoke to Slingshot and they told me that global mode is activated.

Can Global Mode be turned off and on by me within the router or is it something Sling shot has to do on their end?

I would be worried if global mode is on along side of another 3rd party DNS service.

Correct. If you have Global Mode you don't need other DNS services.
