Hi,

So I have been successfully using unblockUS and my Vodafone UFB account to access Netflix and Hulu over the last 6 months or so.  Service has been pretty good, although on occasion the unblockus DNS settings would need to be re-entered and my router restarted.

The best I got between re-sets was 31 days, but recently (last week or so) I seem to be doing it every day and for the last two days a couple of times a day.

So.  I have no idea whether it is unblockus, my router (standard Vodafone, I think Huawei HG659), or vodafone that I should look to fix as part of this.

Any ideas where I should start?  Considered changing to a full VPN service or getting a new router so see if that helps.  Any assistance appreciated.

Ben

Go to testip.geekzone.co.nz and note your IP address. When it stops working do it again. I suspect your IP is changing.

Cheers.  Will do.  So I presume if it stops working again, and the IP address has changed, I need to obtain a static IP from Vodafone?

Or is it just the Unblockus service that needs a static IP, ie an alternative would be to switch to an alternative geo-unblocking service or VPN?
