I am hoping someone can assist by providing some instructions to configure my router to enable content from multiple streaming services to be accessed without changing the location settings.
Specifics;
I have Spark UFB, with Unblock.us DNS settings configured at router level.
I currently subscribe to content from Netflix, Hulu, Quickflix and Lightbox.
I have altered static routes router settings to enable me to stream content from Hulu and Netflix from chromecast.
Content is streamed on an apple tv for airplay, chromecasts, and samsung SMART tvs.
I also watch content on iPad and iPhone.
Issue
Despite having configured Unblock.us DNS settings at router level, I can still access content from NZ streaming services Lightbox, TVNZondemand, and Quickflix.
However, I can't access content from Neon, instead a message appears saying content is blocked, and not available in my location.
There is a post with topic number, 138689 discussing similar content restrictions relating to Unblock.us, Skygo and IOS, with a solution proposed by user "notReally". but I wonder if you would be so kind as to post some specific instructions as to how I might configure my devices according to the instructions below;
NotReally posted;
Hi Pulinski, I had a similar problem with Playmo.TV, Netflix, and OnDemand on the iPad. I used the primary SSID on the router for OnDemand (default DNS settings on the iPad) and the secondary SSID for Netflix (with Playmo.TV DNS settings on the iPad). I do have to remember to check which network I'm connected to before using each app but it is the only way I could think of to have both apps working.
Any advice or instructions would be gratefully received.
