Hi Quickflix

I have been having the same issues, as reported recently by another user, on my Tivo with some Quickflix, downloads over last few weeks. i.e Some subscription shows will just not download Have reported to your CS but no fix to date. Am on Vodafone Highspeed cable 50Mb downloads here in Chch, connected via hardwired ethernet to router (not WIF).

Also noted yesterday that a movie downloaded twice, I requested it again after failing to download the day before. Seems like the prev days request was stuck in your server and then the new request added it to the queue? So using twice as much data with double download as well. Am trialling service and so far not too impressed via Tivo anyway!

One other thought is I assume your VOD server is in Australia, as i see your site traces to AAPT in Aust,  VF links to Oz can be slow from here in my experience so maybe that is part of it?

Thoughts please...
Thanks

I still get this problem intermittently and gave to gave two goes at getting the download to work.  For this reason I won't buy anymore PPV programs or movies.  Been caught twice now.

Thanks for your feedback - much appreciated, fully agree the reliability of the VOD makes QF a non starter for me.

Wondering if you are a Voda Cable or other broadband customer like me, or if the issue is more generic and across other Tivo and other ISP users?
Cheers
