I am having a few five day only specials over the next two weeks. The first of which is a very cool combination of the Teclast x80HD dual boot Android and Windows Tablet (8 inch, 2/32GB, microHDMI, 3735F intel quad core) and the Ipega telescopic gaming controller.

The tablet comes with a NZ certified 2 amp USB wall adapter, and theres quite a few other peripherals that might take your interest.

Sale ends on the 5th, at 7pm.

Anyway, I am offering this at an insanely low price, just to stir up a bit of energy for the store-  $265 plus shipping

Here's the link, and in about ten minutes the video demo for the Ipega will be upped, so you can have a peak (In the video, there's two tablets, the seven inch Android is the first one, the second one is the Teclast Dual boot)

In an attempt to continue to stir up some activity on the web store, we are having a two week special now, on the Cube Talk 7x c8. $140 bucks + shipping. And the case is discounted too.

The volume can be quiet on this model for some applications like movies, from my testing (music conversely seems loud enough). So if audio is an issue I'd recommend some amplification via earpiece, headphones, speakers etc. But the combination of the modest screen resolution and the mediatek octocore chipset makes the device pretty snappy next to other stuff in this price range. And it has 3g, so you can go fully mobile with it.

See here.

There's a video demo under the link.

I didn't want to create a whole new thread, but I just wanted to point out we now give away two months free QuickFlix with every tablet. Which is a bonus :)

Also, if anyone already has a tablet, there are some pretty interesting accessories on offer (IMO), that you won't find so easily in local retaillers

Not sure if you're after feedback but the screen resolution of your tablets (other than 9") is an instant no-go for me, those look like 2012-2013 specs

Sure I need to expand my stock a bit, no doubt. That will come in the next month or so, I expect.  That Cube 9x has been pretty popular.

I wanted to offer some cheaper tablets, that weren't garbage (slow, laggy, TFT screens etc), like a lot of the stuff (almost all?) thats cheaper on the market in NZ is at the moment. Under the 200 buck mark, that tends to mean moderate resolutions (which will suit some people fine, and has done from customer feedback - as far as resolutions go, it's not amazing, but its okay, depends on your needs). Not really 2012 specs though, even the cheap android has a 2ghz octocore mediatek, and the dual boot has 2gb of ram, trailbay. More like 2014, but designed for the more affordable market. Those year old value market products tend to have the best value for customers.

But the stuff I am interested in getting in next is more like, the Teclast X98 Pro, Cube T7 etc, which are high resolution, higher spec, to fill out 'the other end' more (and probably some kind of affordable hybrid device, as a laptop alternative) - and those are all recent.

The chinese market is just as we speak coming out with a raft of 4gb, cherry trail, m-core type devices (at this point 9.7 inch being the smallest), and before anyone really else is doing those chipsets in tablets, so we are just on the verge of a new 'gen' from that market.

And I'll be doing my level best to keep up with that :) I would like longer term to get some acer tablets in too, because they aren't too badly priced.

Just a minor brief update in case anyone was curious - We have new stock in (technically it turns up Monday) - Chuwi Hi8 Dual Boot, more Cube 9x's and the new Teclast Air III (all retina), the teclast being the cheapest price on a 9.7 I have seen.

And in a week or two more I hope to have the second half of my stock order, the Chuwi Hi8 Pro (Cherry trail, USB-C, retina) and the Hi10 (10.1 inch, Cherry Trail, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC, multiple USB ports, USB 3.0, great magnetic keyboard dock can be paired with it for a hybrid experience)

I will likely throw in a little coupon deal for a little while, nothing major, but something just for you guys here at Geekzone :) When I do I may make a seperate post about it, but I figured for just new stock I should wait till I have an offer, even though the prices are always low.
