Hi

Applied for a transit visa on 5th November. My flight transiting through Australia is on the 4th of December. Just wondering if anyone can let me know what sort of processing time is there like during November December? Would be a massive bummer if i have to change my flight. Officially it says 10 working days.

Cheers

hey

a Pakistani passport (not ideal I know =P), but last year my transit visa came within 3 days, so not really sure what the hold up is.

Cheers

probably best not asking in a kiwi forum as most of us wouldn't know.

It is like when foreigners ask me about getting kiwi work visas , i don't know, I've never needed to apply for one.

Yeah, unfortunately I suspect very few here will have an answer for you. You would be best to contact the relevant authority in Australia to find out.

I'm assuming you've sent your passport to the Australian High Commission? Best thing would simply be to ring them.

I hear that it is taking a lot longer now than it was a few months ago. Can you rebook onto another route?
