Anyone had any expierence with the Vialta Beamer TV?  I have family living in africa and because they have such expensive dial-up and / or broadband, I thought by using Beamer TV I could call them and they pay nothing.

However, I can't seem to get info out of the telecommunication guys here in NZ.  I want to use it for calls to Zimbabwe (I hope they are analog - can't get that info out of the telecommunication guys in Zim)  - Is is worth buying?  Would it work?  I realise there might be time delays etc.

Reason I would like the TV option and not the phone is because the screen would be larger and more people can view, instead of them all trying to get around a telephone.

Are there any other options I can look at?
