How do I setup my home network running windows 7 so I can stream recorded TV from my Panasonic BWT835 to my windows 7 PC. Both devices are connected to my network, I can stream from the PC to the BWT835. I view recorded TV from the BWT835 on my android tablet using DIGA player.

I'm not sure that you can stream to your PC easily. I used Twonky server (rather user un-friendly) to copy the recorded files from my BWT720 to my Wiindows 7 PC for editing and/or viewing. Now I have Windows 8.1 which sees the Recorder on my network as another HDD and will transfer the files without a third party server. Windows 7 would see the recorder as a device but not allow direct access. The files are easily edited with VideoReDo and viewed with VLC.

We have progress!

The BWT-835 is connected via wireless to the network.

The BWT-835 has a power on and sleep mode. If you power off, the unit goes into sleep mode, unfortunately it needs to be powered on to be discovered. Unlike the Android app which only needs sleep mode.

While in explorer if you select network and then select "Add a wireless device" the PC will after some time discover the BWT-835.

You can then use either Windows Media Player or Media Center to view the recordings. However you need either a strong wireless signal or preferable wired and a PC with more RAM than I have.

It works but it is sloooow.
