Hi guys, thought I'd post this here to see if anyone who frequents this section can help...

So I purchased a Mitsibushi HC7900DW Projector which was described as BRAND NEW -Original box etc. on BST from member Kopkiwi

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=77&topicid=150420

After reading the reviews on how good a job it does 3D I purchased the emitter and x2 glasses for an extra $300, got my kids some 3D movies for xmas and looked forward to some fun.
Problem is the projector turned up without the cable to connect the emitter to the projector, Kopkiwi said he never used it so it should be in the box. I then found the lens cap and manuals were also missing so looks like he was sold a demo model with hours reset and they didn't put everything back.
The above is no biggie cause I can see it's in excellent condition, the pic is great and it's ceiling mounted so don't need a lens cap.... but turns out the emitter cable is a 5 pin mini DIN m/m type that absolutely nothing else on the planet uses & you can't buy one anywhere in NZ.......so looks like Mitsubishi in all their wisdom decided to use an obsolete connector to make sure you can only use their emitter with the projector which cost another $200.
For the past 6 weeks Kopkiwi has been trying to get hold of who he purchased it from with no contact, he tried Mitsubishi themselves but they don't sell them.
I easily found the cable on Amazon & eBay but to get one here is about $170, daylight robbery!
I'm not keen to shell out another $170 for a cable that should have been included so does anyone know where one could find such a cable for a reasonable price
OR
Does anyone have the same HC7900DW projector (or know someone who does) that can confirm for me that the pin signals are straight through? If I know this I can just get one made up as you can get the plugs in NZ easy enough.
Cheers
