Hi everyone - bit of help if someone could be so kind...

I have a 42" Sony Bravia (KDL 50W670A) and am struggling to find a full motion bracket to mount on the wall.

The issue I have is that the majority of the universal mounts come as a square or 2 vertical arms - both to screw into 2 screw holes each, totalling 4 screw holes), however my sony only has 2 screw holes for the mount. The guy in harvey norman says the vertical arms should still work, but i don't believe him, but happy to be corrected!

If anyone could shed some light, it would be appreciated.

It seems you need an adapter to do it properly with a VESA mount.

The stand on some models converts to a wall mount.

The table top stand transforms into a wall mount for this model by the looks http://www.sony.co.nz/product/kdl-50w670a no idea how it works, maybe look in the manual?

Thanks for the replies guys,

I found that page also after 3 seconds of googling too, however the model for my particular TV isn't mentioned on the page or on the link for other VESA dimensions. On a side note, if you'd like to come up in a B737 with me I'll show you something you definitely wouldn't know in 3 seconds, but thanks for the snide comment none the less

I've had it up on the wall using the supplied stand/mount, however that isn't full motion which is what I need in our new house.

Thanks for the help anyway guys. Maybe i'll just pop in to the sony shop at Sylvia park.

I know this won't help you (but it may help me) - when you use the supplied stand as a wall mount, does it have any range of motion at all?

I believe you can use spacers & long screws in the top holes , & them use any bracket you like.
You may have trouble sourcing the screws

As far as I know you need a Sony "SU-WA1" (google it)

No one seems to have one in New Zealand but contacting Sony NZ.. they may be able to help you.

But if you are lucky.
