yo

i have a a sumsung tv (LA32R81BX/RAD) and a samsung home theatre (HT-TQ85) and also a ps3
i have connected all 3 using 2 hdmi cables following the diagram outlined in the ps3 manual

gaming and media through the ps3 works fine with true 5.1 sound, this is awesome

my problem is when i play a dvd through the ps3 i get the sound but no picture
yes i can play the dvd through the home theatre system but i cannot see any reason why it should not also work through
my ps3. i have played around with the menus in the ps3 but still no picture
is any one able to help me

i realise the home theatre is only 720p but is able to upscale to 1080i which my tv supports
but i still have the same problem when i set my ps3 to output 720p

this is really annoying can anyone help

Strange. I just bought a ps3 the other day hooking into a 1080p projector as follows...

PS3 ->hdmi->av receiver ->hdmi ->projector.

Set everything to 'auto' and it works just fine with dvd/ps3 games. Just need to test a bluray disc now.
